Description: The Yunomi is a style of teacup without a handle that is traditionally used for every day tea drinking in Japan. This size is close to that of the typical yunomi, which is designed to cradle in your hands ; perfect for enjoying the warmth of the tea without burning your fingers, as the white, oolong and green teas that this cup is meant to hold are typically brewed at lower temperatures for optimal flavour (below 100°C). The white interior glaze perfectly displays the colour of the steep. This quaint, footed yunomi cup is eclectic, graceful and functional.
White stoneware clay is incised with one of Margit's unique designs. The cup is painted with white glaze, and accented with a dark blue glaze.
Dishwasher Safe. No Microwave.
Please let us know in the 'notes' section at Check-Out which of the designs you would prefer.
