Teapot - Brown Clay + Scale Pattern

Description: These teapots are a rare occurrence - they take an incredible amount of work to build and to glaze. Each one is made by hand without use of a potter's wheel. As much a decorative piece as a functional one.

Brown stoneware clay is incised with one of Margit’s unique designs. The Teapot interior is glazed blue, the exterior is brushed, wiped and accented with blue glaze. The lid is glazed blue.

Dishwasher Safe. No Microwave.

Uses: Use this beautiful teapot every day, or keep it for special guests. You can place desired amount of loose tea leaves directly into the teapot to steep, and strain into your cup. Rinse out your teapot and the used leaves into your compost. For easier clean-up, place loose leaf tea into compostable tea bags, a large mesh ball strainer, a "tea sock", or your favourite tea straining device - place in the teapot, pour in your hot water, and serve after desired steep has been reached. No matter your methods, enjoy!
