Description: The Yunomi is a style of teacup without a handle that is traditionally used for every day tea drinking in Japan. This cup is the perfect size to wrap in your hands during a cool day. Its smaller size and capacity, as well as the lack of a handle, are reminiscent of more traditional everyday teacups in Asia. Typically used for tea steeped at a lower temperature, such as with white, green and oolong tea, the cup allows you to feel the warmth of your beverage without getting too hot for your fingers. The white interior glaze perfectly displays the colour of the steep. This short yunomi cup is both elegant and functional.
Brown stoneware clay is incised with one of Margit's unique designs and the cup is painted with brown glaze.

Uses: Excellent for green tea, white tea and oolong tea. Perfect for iced teas, smoothies, and other cold beverages during the Spring and Summer months. Makes a lovely mini vase for fresh or dried flowers.
