Origin: Fujian Province, China
Description: According to ancient Chinese legend, monkeys were trained to pick the finest leaves from the tall and wiry tea bushes throughout the tea forests of the Wuyi Mountains. Though the truth of this legend has been long debated, the term Monkey Picked is now widely used to refer to a high quality harvest of choice oolong. This oolong offers a lively chartreuse liquor with a lovely nose with hints of fresh fruit blossoms.
Tasting Notes: The cup is satisfying and refreshing with elegant notes of sweet citrus and a buttery, smooth finish.
Brewing Instructions: 2g per cup; 90-95ºC water; steep 5 minutes and re-steep up to four times.
