Origin: Zhejiang Province, China
Description: Since gaining tremendous popularity outside of Asia, tea of this kind is now also being plucked for this process in China. Chinese Sencha is finished in a way that honours its traditional Japanese roots. The tea leaves are flat, handled in a way that gives them the look of eternally green, fresh-cut blades of grass. It is also an excellent choice for savoury meal pairings.
Tasting Notes: The cup is fresh, lively and distinctly flavourful; a great go-to, everyday green tea.
Brewing Instructions: 2g per cup; 90-95ºC water; steep 3-5 minutes
