Yunomi Cup - Large - Blue Glaze

Description: The Yunomi is a style of teacup without a handle that is traditionally used for every day tea drinking in Japan. This taller version is perfect for holding in your hands to enjoy the warmth of the tea without burning your fingers, as the white and green teas that this cup is meant to hold are typically brewed at lower temperatures for optimal flavour. The white interior glaze perfectly displays the colour of the steep. This tall, slender yunomi cup is both elegant and functional.

Brown stoneware clay is incised with one of Margit's unique designs and the cup is painted with blue glaze.
 

Dishwasher Safe. No Microwave.

Uses: Perfect for green tea, white tea and oolong tea. Excellent for iced teas, smoothies, and other cold beverages during the Spring and Summer months. Makes a lovely vase for fresh or dried flowers.
