Style: Shou Pu-Erh
Origin: Yunnan Province, China
Description: This loose-leaf style Pu-erh is plucked, cooked and fermented. A very traditional Chinese tea, and the only tea that uses microbial fermentation to process and oxidize the leaves. It offers a robust, sturdy, and aromatic flavour and a rich steep.
Tasting Notes: The aroma of this Pu-Erh is reminiscent of the seaside and summer fields. Immediately you can sense kelp and sun warmed hay. It offers a smooth even flavour that is grounding with a clean finish. The deep mossy and earthy tones would complement spicy foods marvellously.
Brewing Instructions: 2g per cup. 100ºC water. steep 3-5 minutes. re-steep.
