Add this simple syrup to your steeped Chai, or to a steamed milk of your choice. Enjoy hot or over ice. This syrup can also be used to add extra spice to cookies, loaves, icings, cakes, and cocktails or even coffee.

Westholme's Masala Chai Simple Syrup
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup water
3 drops lemon juice
1 - 2 Tbsp of Westholme's Masala Chai
- Bring all liquid ingredients to a boil in a saucepan, then reduce heat and simmer until sugar has completely dissolved and becomes a bit syrupy (2 - 3 minutes).
- Add the Masala Chai and simmer 1 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool completely.
- Strain into air-tight container, and keep in the fridge up to 2 weeks
Use syrup to taste!
