TEAPOTS

Over the years, there have been countless requests for Margit to make more teapots... Finally, after working away in the studio for many evening hours, she has created a fresh round of gorgeous hand-built and hand-glazed teapots in a white stoneware clay, with more in brown stoneware clay being made in time for Christmas. Available in very limited quantities in three designs: scale, circle and rose. Each is completely unique and full of personality, and will last for years and years with proper care.

Come visit our Teashop + Gallery before they're gone!
GOURD CUPS

These round tea cup shapes are based on the hollowed gourd vessels traditionally used to drink Yerba Mate (Ilex paraguariensis), but are excellent for any tea of your choosing! Delightfully decorative, with a unique footed design, these functional pieces of art can withstand scrubbing, dishwashers and hot teas. Available in circle, rose and scale designs, with or without the addition of a handle.
YUNOMI CUPS
Large

There is little as elegant and as versatile as these tall vessels. Margit built these cups based on the Yunomi teacup style, a Japanese handleless cup traditionally used for daily tea drinking (as opposed to more ceremonial tea events). This taller version has divots for easy handling. Excellent for any tea you choose, but especially green tea, white tea and oolong tea. Wonderful for chai lattes and hot chocolates in the cold months, and for iced teas, smoothies, and other cold beverages during the Spring and Summer months. It also makes a lovely vase for fresh or dried flowers. Check our website for versions made with brown clay, for more earthy tones.
