After many discussions with the Westholme team, we are happy to announce that we have plans to reopen to the public next Wednesday, June 3rd. This newsletter will act as a short guide, so our patrons know what to expect when they make the journey to the Westholme tea shop. We will be reopening in stages, of which this is the first! Please continue reading below for our new hours, and recent changes to our Online Order Pick-Up Process.



For all your loose-leaf organic tea, ceramic and tea ware purchasing needs, we are opening our tea shop to the public at reduced hours next week. 


Wednesday - Friday: 1pm - 4pm

Saturday - Tuesday: Closed

 Important Notes

  • Only 1 - 2 people from the same household bubble” will be allowed in the store at a time. 

  • There are NO public washrooms available. 

  • There will be a marked waiting area outside, to make physical distancing easier if you are asked to wait. 

  • Paying with card is preferred. 

  • We do not have sniffer tins or samples available at this time. You will not be allowed to touch any of the merchandise. Please ask a tea guide for tasting notes, descriptions, and advice if you are uncertain about which teas you wish to purchase! Our staff are well-versed in our selection and happy to help. 

  • We ask that you respect our requests to physically distance from us, our staff and other customers while you are on the property. We will have sanitizing stations available, and our team will be wearing protective equipment. We do not require you to wear a mask, but invite you to do so if you prefer.  

ONLINE PICK-UP                        

For a contactless tea purchasing experience, our online store has a pick-up option at the Westholme Gate for those in the community who wish to forego the cost of shipping. Our vast selection of loose leaf tea, tea ware, ceramics and gift sets are available.


Sunday - Friday: 10am - 5pm

Saturday: @ Duncan Farmer’s Market : 9am - 2pm

Important Notes


  • You can choose to get your order by pick-up at our Online Store at check-out, or by phone if you don’t have internet access. 

  • Your order will be available for pick-up at the Westholme Gate 24 hours after your purchase, unless you request a later date. For example: If you purchase your tea on Tuesday at 8pm, the order will be ready for pick-up on Thursday from 10am onwards.

  • You will receive an e-mail notification once your order is ready. 

  • The Pick-Up Tent will remain at the entrance of the property. We have clear signage, and your order bag will have your name written clearly on it. 


Our much loved tea service at the Westholme tearoom and garden is not available due to Covid-19 restrictions and our unique kitchen set-up.   



Important Notes

There is currently NO tea service.

  • Our patio is CLOSED to the public until further notice.

  • There will be NO samples of our tea of the week, and NO steeped teas for take-out.

  • Our gallery is currently closed, but Margit’s beautiful ceramics are available Online and in the Teashop.
