Description: A Japanese classic made of Sencha leaf, with added lightly toasted brown rice. The liquor is light and bright, the cup is sweet and soft with nutty notes of sweet hay. This tea is lower in caffeine than a pure green due to the rice content, and the tea is a great companion to meals both sweet and savoury.
Tasting Notes: A soft, and slightly nutty tea with a fresh and grassy linger.
Brewing Instructions: 2g per cup; 90-95ºC water; steep 5 minutes and re-steep once or twice.
