USA Tariffs on Tea Update

New 50% U.S. tariffs on a broad range of Canadian goods took effect on August 22, 2026, after trade negotiations between USA and Canada collapsed.

US 50% Tariffs Do Not Affect Tea.

The announced 50% USA tariffs (Section 338) enacted this weekend do not list tea (HS 0902.xx) or any goods that we currently ship to the USA. We encourage customers to reach out to us if there are any concerns at hello@westholmetea.com.

For US orders going forward :: 

• Orders ship five days a week, Monday - Friday.
• All orders are shipped from our facility in Westholme BC by courier (Canada Post, UPS, FedEX) 
• Expect 3-8 business days for shipping from CA-USA
• Westholme Tea Company offers a flat fee shipping rate of $22.95 for CA-USA. For orders over $175 shipping is complimentary within for CA-USA.
