News from the Tea Garden

Victor and the Westholme team have been enjoying the cool and quiet of early mornings in the tea garden. Plucking while enjoying our first tea of the day in nature, amongst the tea plants, rabbits and buzzing bees is a favourite pastime.
The first day of summer, the longest day of the year and the halfway point through 2025, marked the perfect day to slow down, reflect, and set intention. This day also marked the start of a new series of Canadian tea, plucking with White Mist in mind.
All of our Canadian Tea comes from the 800 Camellia sinensis bushes on our slopes here at Westholme - so we sell out of our first flush of the season rather quickly each year!
The first flush of the summer harvest season 2025 has yielded a delicate and soft batch of tea leaves perfect for our tea makers small batch white tea, White Mist.

The petals of rose and linden flower add high floral notes atop the lower earthy tones of linden leaf, nettle and clover. Lemongrass imparts a warm citrusy twist, and leads to the unrefined and naturally sweet stevia leaf to finish.
The cup is complete, complex, and carries with it a calming herbal perfume. Reminiscent of the refreshing and revitalizing flavour of a perfect, warm day. Enjoy morning, afternoon and evening, hot or iced! This Westholme blended herbal infusion offers the perfect pause on a busy July day.
