November Tea of the Month

Welcoming November, a wonderfully cozy time of year where most of us on Vancouver Island find refuge from the rain to enjoy a warm cup of our favourite tea by a crackling fire.

Introducing our November Tea of the Month, Fireside.
A unique blend of two classic teas from China: A Keemun tea from Anhui Province with a natural cinnamon quality, and the robust pine-smoked savoury addition of a Lapsang Souchong from Fujian Province. This combination is rounded  with the addition of liquorice root, adding a natural lingering sweetness to a smooth cup. This tea was meant to be enjoyed by the fire during any season - a bonfire on the beach, or near the fireplace at home on a snowy day. It is an excellent tea hot or iced (we suggest the cold-steeping method for iced tea), with or without milk. It is also excellent for experimentation in culinary pursuits.
