The Freshest of Steeps in September
Westholme Blend Re-Stock
Persia is one of Westholme’s very first blended teas. Drawing inspiration from West Asian tea culture, where tea is often served with morning and afternoon meals, and to guests and neighbours throughout the day, we created a flavourful and refreshing tea for any time of day.
What are the tasting notes?
What are the tasting notes?
A gentle, floral citrus scent builds in sweetness as it sits in the cup. This tea has a gentle muscatel on the tip of the tongue, with a pleasant astringency that curbs into soft notes of lavender and bergamot. The cup is pleasantly complex, crisp, and completely refreshing.

How to Store Your Tea
At Westholme, all of our teas and tisanes are hand packed in foil-lined bags and sealed tins for optimum freshness. Our Team has put a great amount of effort into researching our packaging, and we are pleased to offer a design that not only provides optimal tea storage but is also recyclable.

We suggest keeping the majority of your tea in the bags we provide and ensuring they are well sealed after each opening. If you prefer to plan ahead, you can purchase our tea in bulk and enjoy savings when you order a larger quantity. You can then use our bulk bags of tea to refill your daily used tins of tea (or a well sealed container of your choice). Place enough tea to suit your tea drinking ritual for a few weeks or months into this vessel, and leave it on your counter while storing the remainder of the bulk tea away in a stable location away from natural light. Simply refill these chosen vessels from the larger bulk bags as necessary.
Make sure your own chosen vessel allows for darkness and air tightness – it is quite important to seal the tea very well. Keeping bulk tea and your smaller re-fillable vessel in a relatively cool place will help, but the key is maintaining a consistent/stable temperature away from a stove, kettle, toaster, air conditioner or essentially any place where there may be large temperature fluctuations,

We ensure all of the teas we source are organic, pure and fresh. We hand-blend all of our own recipes in small batches. In the past, we generally have said that our teas are best used within one year. However, when properly stored, teas can last much longer. High quality white, pu-erh and oolong teas actually can age quite well and become more desirable with age in the right conditions.
