Today is International Tea Day
When the sun shone on the tea garden today it felt even more special. Not only because it is International Tea Day May 21, because it is also the beginning of our harvest season. I have the great privilege and pleasure of walking the farm slopes every morning and watching the evolution of the humble project of growing tea for the last 16 years.
I harvest the tea along with the wonderful staff at Westholme and, as tea maker, attempt to create beautiful teas out of our mutual effort and love of tea.
Our collective experience here at Westholme connects us to the tea industry and an appreciation for the workers and tea makers who we source our tea from around the world.
We hope you continue to enjoy our tea selection including our original recipe hand blended tea and tisanes.
I will let you in the next while when the farm grown Canadian tea will be available for purchase at the Teashop and online.
