Cooked Masala Chai
Use 1 teaspoon (2-3 grams) of Masala Chai per 1 cup (250ml) of liquid. When adding water and milk together, combine in a 1:1 ratio. For example, if using 1 cup of water, use 1 cup of milk. This recipe makes 2-3 servings of tea.
:: Ingredients ::
- 2 cups of water
- 2 cups of milk of your choice
- 4 teaspoons of Westhome's Masala Chai (or any other Westholme Chai of your choosing)
:: Directions ::
Measure water and tea into a pot on the stovetop. Bring to a gentle boil for 3-5 minutes. Reduce heat and add the milk of your choice. Bring back just to a boil, then reduce immediately to a simmer for 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Strain, sweeten if desired, and enjoy!
Use the same method for Westholme's Golden Chai, Golden Spice, and Pure Spice tisanes to make a Golden Milk.
Enjoy!
