Warm Sun, Chilled

Warm Sun, Chilled

Warm Sun is our July tisane feature and we are enjoying it here at Westholme almost every morning before we begin enjoying caffeinated teas (mainly Cream of Earl over our morning gathers these days).

One of our team members crafted a delicious cold steep of Warm Sun so we thought we would share how they created the perfect chilled Warm Sun to pair with these toasty, sun drenched days of July!

1. Clean your preferred vessel, jar or pitcher

2. Scoop Warm Sun into your vessel (1.5 x the amount you would normally use) - We used around 4grams per 250ml of water

3. Fill vessel with cold, filtered water and place lid over vessel

4. Place in fridge and allow around 6-10 hours for the tisane to steep

* A great tip for preparing large amounts of iced tea is to make ice cubes from the tea. This allows for keeping the tea chilled without diluting the flavour.

A word of caution - brewed tea has a shelf life! For best results, tea stored at room temperature is best enjoyed within 2 days and tea stored in the refrigerator is best enjoyed within 3-4 days.

If you have any questions at all, send us an email at hello@westholmetea.com

Enjoy 10% OFF Warm Sun for the entire month of July!
