Buying your teas and tisanes in bulk

TRIAL POUCH : 10-20 grams = 5-10 cups of tea 

STANDARD TIN : 50-200 grams = 25-100 cups of tea

100 G BAG : 100 grams = 50 cups of tea

250 G BAG : 250 grams = 125 cups of tea

500 G BAG : 500 grams = 250 cups of tea

1 KG BAG : 1 kilogram = 500 cups of tea

This translates to 10% savings on 250g bags, 15% savings on 500g bags and 20% savings on 1kg bags. Savings are incorporated into the final price of the tea.

Tea is a celebration of the moment and always tastes better when shared! When you buy in bulk, consider sharing tea amongst family, friends, community, neighbours.

Why are trial pouches and standard tins a different weight?

When purchasing your favourite tea or tisane in a trial pouch or standard tin size, they will vary in weight based on the density of the agricultural product inside. For example, most whole leaf teas or herbal tisanes are lighter and fluffier while some black teas, pu-erh's, green teas, etc. are heavier/more dense, therefore, do not fill our standard size tins the same way a fluffy herbal might. All teas are weighed and labelled by our lovely team so you know exactly how many cups of tea you will be able to brew from your tin or bag.

Recommended quantity for the most flavourful steep

We suggest starting with 2 grams of tea per cup of water. If you do not have a scale to measure out the weight of your tea, for a typical black tea, 2 grams roughly equals 1 teaspoon. One cup of water refers to one metric cup (250ml). For teas with larger leaf sizes, teas blended with herbs and spices, fluffier herbals and oolongs, we recommend using a little more. The label on each tin references a suggested spoon measurement. However, it is all about your taste and how you enjoy your tea the most!

100 gram bag - $21.50 for 50 cups or $0.43 per cup of tea

110 gram tin - $27 for 55 cups or $0.49 per cup of tea

250 gram bag - $46.50 for 125 cups or $0.37 per cup

500 gram bag - $86.50 for 250 cups or $0.35 per cup of tea

1 kilogram bag - $161.50 for 500 cups or $0.32 per cup of tea
