Description: A Japanese style teapot, made in Japan in Hasami village in Nagasaki prefecture, where traditions of ceramic and porcelain production date back over 400 years. This teapot is designed with usability in mind, bringing together ancient tea traditions with the modern lifestyle. Comes with a removable stainless steel strainer which you can use to brew a wide range of teas and tisanes.
Product size and shape varies in each item due to manufacturing process. Appearance and colour of glaze varies slightly in each item. Some products may take on scorched-like texture on the surface. It is an unique glaze effect called "yo-hen", unintended color transformation show on the ceramic and porcelain after firing.
Uses: Excellent for steeping your favourite loose-leaf teas and tisanes.
