Origin: Fujian Province, China
Description: Mao Xie and Ti Kwan Yin are both produced in Fujian Province and both have made the province famous for its wonderful oolongs. Hairy Crab got its name due to the tiny hair underneath the tea leaves. Mao Xie is a lightly oxidised oolong offering the same freshness of a quality Spring harvest green tea.
Tasting Notes: The aroma is vegetal with soft floral and fruity notes, the liquor a soft yellow and the cup fresh with a pleasant body.
Brewing Instructions: 2g per cup; 90-95ºC water; steep 5 minutes and re-steep up to four times.
