Description: This classic Assam Breakfast GBOP (Golden Broken Orange Pekoe) has a bright, robust cup while still maintaining smoothness. Due to the broken leaf style of processing for this tea, it steeps to a bold, rich sienna. A wonderful, strong breakfast tea with a classic lingering malt. Sweet musk meets the nose and the tongue with notes of deep caramel. The finish is clean and crisp.
Tasting Notes: A rich and bold black tea with notes of dark brown sugar and a rich malt astringency at the front of the palate. Crisp finish. Fantastic with milk and honey.
Brewing Instructions: 2g per cup. 100ºC water. steep 3-5 minutes.
