


We are looking forward to welcoming community to join us for an afternoon of Music in the Westholme Tea Garden from 1:30-3:30pm on July 30th and August 20th 2023.
Come enjoy the peaceful natural setting of our terraced tea slopes, plus a live band… while sipping delicious teas + tisanes.

- Casual festival style seating- all seating is first come first served
- Two hours of live jazz music : Phil Newns, vocals and keyboard. KC Izard, vocals. John Robertson, double bass.
- Endless iced + hot teas
- Small sweet + savory tasters to nibble while you sip
Space is limited, and must be booked in advance!
Remember, you’re on island time : leave time to kick back, relax, and savour the moment steeped in nature.
All Music in the Tea Garden guests will receive 10% savings on our Tea Collection in the Teashop during their visit.

[ KC IZARD ] has been performing since the age of 5, first with the COLT 49’ Country Band, and now regularly with the “Hot Velvet Jazz Band”. She is an engaging entertainer with a passion for performing all styles of music including jazz. While attending Brentwood College, KC was the leader of the multi award winning Vocal Jazz Ensemble – “Tonic Fusion”.
[ PHIL NEWNS ] is well known as a pianist, vocalist, bandleader and educator. In 1990, as Canadian Champion, Phil represented Canada in the Yamaha International Electone Festival held in Mexico City that year, placing 6th in the world. As Head of Music at Brentwood College School he has directed over 40 major theatrical productions, most recently Mamma Mia. Phil & KC love to play, and can be found performing every Saturday night at the Masthead Restaurant in Cow Bay.
[ J. ROBERTSON ] plays electric bass and double bass in wide assortment of local bands - from Jazz to Rock & Roll.
