Ingredients: Houjicha, Rose Petals, Pure Vanilla Bean

Description: Green Silk combines a traditional roasted Japanese green tea called Houjicha with dried rose petals and pure vanilla bean. This unusual blend produces a rich, silky cup with smooth floral notes. The natural sweet flavour is balanced with grassy tones.

Tasting Notes: A smooth cup that manages to be both rich and refreshing. The luxurious silken texture and flavour of vanilla bean meets a bouquet of sweet rose petals. The Houjicha's notes of toasted grasses are in fabulous company. This tea is best characterized as a stroll through royal gardens.

Brewing Instructions: 2g per cup. 95ºC water. Steep 3-5 minutes. Re-steep.

The organic teas we import are artisanally farmed and crafted. They may change with each harvest season. The same tea harvested at a different time of year and processed by a different tea maker will vary slightly in flavour and finish.
