Ingredients: Green Gunpowder Tea, Peppermint, Orange Peel, Raw Stevia Leaf

Description: Adding our own twist to a Moroccan tea tradition, which is traditionally served with sugar, we have instead added a touch of unrefined stevia leaf and orange peel to replicate this sweetness without compromising on flavour. The strength of the Chinese gunpowder green tea carries bold peppermint to an excellent warm steep, rounded off with the complex natural sweetness of orange peel and higher straightforward sweetness of stevia leaf on the palate. Our Sweet Morocco is a versatile best-seller – enjoy it hot or iced any season.

Tasting Notes: A fresh, playful balance between peppery warm mint and nuanced citrus sweetness. The cup is grounded with the classic strength of the gunpowder green tea, and lingers sweetly on the tongue. Refreshing and invigorating. Excellent hot or iced (via cold-steep).

Brewing Instructions: 2g per cup. 95ºC water. steep 3 minutes.

Tea cultivation and processing originated in China about 5,000 years ago, and while they carry on a rich and ancient tradition of producing high-quality teas of all styles, their green varieties are truly beyond comparison. The flavour profiles, aromas, and processing techniques from each tea-growing region vary tremendously. Some become silky and smooth, while some become powerful and astringent. The organic teas we import are artisanally farmed and crafted. They may change with each harvest season. The same tea harvested at a different time of year and processed by a different tea maker will vary slightly in flavour and finish.
